SensorFlow Tutorial
Connect a sensor and understand every reading
A beginner-friendly guide to turning data from real hardware into live status, charts, alerts, and useful history.
What is SensorFlow?
SensorFlow is a cloud-based IoT monitoring platform. It receives readings from ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino-compatible Wi-Fi boards, Raspberry Pi, and other HTTPS-capable devices, then turns them into an understandable operational view.
How SensorFlow works
- 1Create an account
- 2Add a device
- 3Copy the Hardware ID and Device Token
- 4Connect hardware to the SensorFlow ingest endpoint
- 5Send sensor readings
- 6Monitor live status and charts
- 7Configure alert thresholds
- 8Review historical readings
Main features
Live sensor monitoring
See current readings and whether each device is online.
Threshold alerts
Set safe ranges and see when readings trigger or resolve an alert.
Device status
Track connection state, latest contact, battery level, and signal strength.
Historical data
Review charts and readings within your plan's history window.
CSV Export
Starter and Pro customers can download reading history as CSV.
Automation hooks
Pro can send signed alert and device-status events to an HTTPS endpoint.
Hardware & API ingestion
Connect Wi-Fi boards, Raspberry Pi, or any HTTPS-capable device.
